Building Better Homes Across Arizona
Stronghold Arizona Enterprises LLC
Some remodeling projects begin with one frustrating room. Others begin with a bigger question: how can we make this home work better without moving? That can lead to a kitchen and living-space update, a primary-suite remodel, added guest or family space, a casita, or a larger set of improvements that are better handled together.
Stronghold brings the project-management layer that becomes more important as the scope grows. Planning the work as one coordinated renovation helps align the trades, material decisions and construction sequence so each improvement contributes to the finished whole.

Frequently Asked Questions
Planning a home remodel often comes with questions about the process, timeline, costs, permits, and what to expect along the way. We want San Tan Valley homeowners to feel informed and confident before starting their project.
Now that San Tan Valley is a town, who handles my remodeling permit?
San Tan Valley’s permitting system is transitioning following incorporation of the Town. Pinal County announced on October 1, 2026 that, effective November 1, 2026, it will no longer accept new building plan review and inspection work for properties within Town limits. Plans submitted to Pinal County before November 1 will continue through the County until completion.
For new projects after that transition, the Town of San Tan Valley will handle building permits inside Town limits, while properties outside the incorporated boundary remain under Pinal County jurisdiction.
Stronghold should verify the property’s jurisdiction and current submission process at the time of each project because this is a newly changing system.
What remodeling projects make the biggest difference in how a home functions?
The most impactful remodels are usually the ones that solve daily friction: kitchens that do not flow well, bathrooms that are outdated or unsafe, poor storage, unused rooms, disconnected living areas, or spaces that no longer fit the family’s needs. Sometimes a focused kitchen or bathroom remodel makes the biggest difference; other times, a multi-room update or layout change creates a better result.
Stronghold can help identify which changes will improve the home’s function most before the scope is finalized.
Can I remodel several parts of my home under one contract?
Yes. Stronghold is comfortable combining multiple areas into one larger remodeling project. Coordinating the work together can make scheduling, trade coordination, and some project costs more efficient. If the homeowners will remain in the house during construction, Stronghold may recommend phasing the work so too many essential spaces are not taken out of service at the same time.
Can I live in my home during a larger renovation?
Sometimes, yes, depending on the scope and which parts of the home are affected. Living through a renovation is easier when essential spaces remain usable and the work can be phased safely. If the project affects kitchens, bathrooms, plumbing, major flooring, or multiple occupied areas at once, Stronghold may recommend a phasing plan or discuss whether temporary relocation would be more practical.
Stronghold can help homeowners understand the expected disruption before construction begins.
What can I realistically expect for my remodeling budget?
Stronghold generally begins considering projects around $15,000, and the approximate 2026 average project value discussed with Reverie was $55,000. For specific project types, use Stronghold’s current published ranges rather than creating separate San Tan Valley pricing.
The final budget depends on scope, square footage, structural work, design and engineering needs, material selections, site conditions, and permitting.
Should I renovate my San Tan Valley home all at once or in phases?
Both options can make sense. If the work affects multiple connected spaces or shared systems, doing more at once can sometimes be more efficient. If the homeowner is living in the home, managing budget carefully, or trying to limit disruption, phasing may be the better approach.
Stronghold can help create a plan that protects the long-term vision while keeping the project realistic.
